ok so simple question-

1*16 G.skill Ripjaws V 3200mhz vs 2* G.skill Ripjaws 2800mhz...

use- no content creation or such..just Gamining @ 1080p ultra nd software development.

I would personally go with 2800 dual channel over single channel 3200.

At the end of the day though, it won't make a huge difference, just make sure the RAM you get is on your motherboards QVL.

yup both are and both are same price..I'm thinking 1* 16 , cause the actual advantage of dual channel has never been too evident to me..plus I can add another 8 or 16 of the same down the line..I don't wan't to compromise on frequency..

But if someone can prove otherwise..I'll be happy to buy 2*8
