Which Would Be Better?

I'm going to be building a pc with a ryzen 5 1500x processor and 16gb of ram and i was wondering which processor would be better:

580, but I'm not sure how long it would take for you to get it as it looks like you can only get it at places that will order it if you order or where you pre order.

This doesn't show the right picture, but does further down and has the same name so not sure if it is the same one or not.

Assuming you can actually get a 580, depends on your application:

 

580s are better for hashing, hands down, for example.

 

For gaming? The two are fairly comparable. 580 tends to come out ahead at higher resolutions and with vram intensive titles. 1060 tends to win on more particle effect heavy titles.

That looks right, I think they just got the wrong pic. At the very least you could return it if it's wrong.

Witcher 3: 1060 wins both at 1080p and 1440p

Far Cry Primal: 1060 wins at 1080p and they tie at 1440p

BF1: 580 wins both at 1080p and 1440p

Rainbow Six: 1060 wins (slight) at 1080p and they tie at 1440p

No... that is just because AMD owns ATI.

I just looked at the 1060's price and it's gone up so im gonna go with the 580

uhh, i read that rx 580 and gtx 1060 performance is on par (somewhat)
but i heard AMD cards consume more power than the green team, is this something to consider as well on choosing GPU?
i mean, how it wil effect on daily basis?
