Worth upgrading now?

I am planning on selling my R9 390 and upgrading to a GTX 1070, but should I wait for Vega or Volta or whatever?

Go for it, full performance on FHD you can get

"Make it future proof for some years at least, don't buy "only slightly better" stuff that gets outdated 1 year, that's throwing money away" @pipoawas

 

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).

Personally I would go with the 1070 if you want it now..but if your the least bit interested in Vega I'd wait, plus GPUs get cheaper over time.
