Specs of the computer http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/pcs/49816/acer-aspire-x3900-review (this is everything minus the DVD drive at this point )

Okay guys so my parents bought a PC like 6 years ago and are still using it and this PC has been through a lot so much so that the old GPU got fried so i replaced it with a GTX 220 for the time-being but now the PC seems to be heating up a bit and slowing down.

The usage of this PC now is opening documents and sending emails and sometime causal miniclip gaming by my younger siblings.

So i decided to pimp the PC a bit and let more air flow so i removed the DVD drive and it's chassis since it was a huge metal case and screwed the HDD at the side.

So for the upgrades for it i am thinking of getting a 128gb SSD and replacing the HDD as not much space is even used up right now and plus this will speed up everything quite well.

Adding 4gigs of RAM and a GTX 550Ti graphic card, and i was wondering if i should change the fan of the CPU.

What are your thoughts on this and please remember I live in UAE and am on a tight budget so parts are very expensive for me here.

Thank you for helping out

I dont think it needs any new gfx card or ram. Just clean the dust and it should be fine. SSD is good, since it can be reused even if this machine is retired.
