The Ubuntu OS now available for (two supported) mobile smartphones

Guest Gazzer96

Ubuntu can now be installed on the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4, but still it is not quite finished and it is only aimed at developers and indurstry partners.

If you just want to test it out you could, but you need to make sure you know what you are doing otherwise you may as well smash you super expensive phone with a gaint sledge hammer, as  even I have screwed up a few machines trying to install Linux and I still not have mastered it.

They are also working on making a tablet verison of the OS which may release some time in 2014.
