Hey guys what do you think about this build.

I want to buy it begin september so I hope the prices will drop a bit by then.

I want to play the following games:

Arma 3, CS:GO, Dirt 4, etc

I want to overclock the CPU.

I don't want Ryzen. For Arma 3 I need Single Core performance and the i7 7700k has the best Single Core Performance atm.

as before, with fast ram, i learn to distrust benchmarks like that one that doesnt say ram speed

You got a source somewhere?

exactly? its slightly lacking, but higher core count will help with anything else :) what res you playing at?

1920x1080. It's not exactly slightly. Its 20 points behind. In arma this will result in like 10-15 FPS less.

okay, if youre playing at 1080 you dont need a gtx1080, id advise playing at higher res and going ryzen, the gap lessens at 1440 and 4k

How am I going to play higher res on a 1080p monitor? Also the 1080 is only 70 euro more expensive.

well im assuming you posted your build with no intentions of changing anything, so i will just say "nice build, wouldn't change a thing"

(although i would build ryzen and with the savings buy a 1080ti or buy a 1080 with a higher res panel)

I posted a computer build and I get the reaction: Buy a Ryzen and get a better monitor because ryzen is better on that? I never intended to change my monitor and I posted it here to see if I am missing something or if there is maybe a better SSD or something.
