Hello I'm an editor and I have to deal with multiple big 4K files and I regularly use my desktops and laptops.

What I would like is to have access to raw videos from all computers with the fastest speed possible, and what I plan to do is to edit from my laptop then put the file on my main fastest desktop computer to render the completed video. (Do I need to setup a VM? Windows Server? I use adobe premiere pro)

 

What do I need to be able to do this? Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks

Buy unraid and create a file share for the network.
