I have been also waiting for more reviews from this Laptop. It looks ugly and cheap but hopefully no weak hinge problems or overall weak build quality.

For Ram: How much do you use currently? if you just going to play games and browse web even 16 can be overkill. If you are rendering 4k videos and have 60 layers on Ps open at once 32 is essential.

Get the fast SSD. I don't own a M.2 drive but upgrading from HDD to SSD to a faster SSD changed how my current pc feels greatly.

I use 16gb currently on my PC but I can't carry my desktop to college. Most of the reviews  I have seen seem to find it to be high quality plastic.

I do not know the versions in US website since it re-directs me. But you can always get ram and ssd later for cheaper. And since Aero 15 has 2x M.2 slots you can get the cheaper configuration with less ram and slower ssd then update parts you need accordingly. Heck, get super fast M.2 drive later and install windows there.

You just saved money (I think)

no idea where you got this info.

its made of CNC milled aluminium and plastic, and plastic doesnt = bad build quality. It's only 19mm thick

I also compared it to similar laptops. Dell Xps 15:  11-17mm, Msi Gs63: 17.7 mm. But i have to admit the difference is negligible.

Also i never said its had bad build quality. I meant it looks plastic, and i am more concerned with aesthetics myself. I just said hopefully it doesn't have any problems since we don't have many reviews of this laptop yet.

But thanks for pointing out my mistakes mate, much appreciated.

If you're going to replace the boot SSD  yourself, don't forget to backup the display colour profile that the laptop comes with. Every panel produced is a bit different and thus will have it's own profile suited to it, downloading one from another user mightn't be the best option... That's not to say you couldn't lease a calibration device from a camera shop and do the job yourself, but part of the product's pricing is in that Pantone branding so it's fooling to throw that away.

I only write this as in another forum I saw a bunch of users freaking out about the whole colour thing after they reinstalled Windows. I could be off the mark with this but just typing to be on the safe side.

Some monitors actually support build in profiles. Not sure about this laptop though. And Spyders are always on good discounts at amazon.
