So i have a 480, and vulcan for doom is broken for me. whenever i start it, i get to 99%, then i black screen before the game goes invisible and then i have to sign out to fix it. ive tried ddu, ive tried running as an admin, ive tried the skip intro thing, the only thing that works is running in windowed, and that is painful. is there any fix for this? any at all? i dont wanna go to opengl cause its as optimized as shit... thanks for your help

Found this.

Fix DOOM Black Screen on Startup:how to!

just add “+com_skipIntroVideo 1” in the launch options . This should make the intro videos disappear when you launch the game and your black screen glitch will be fixed.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

ive tried that too. its not the video that causes it, it crashes once it hits 99% on the 2nd loading screen (after the red one)

Hmmmm. Then a fresh instal should work, though that's a giant pain in the ass. You have a friend with a spare card? Bet if you switched to it, then back, it might work.

um... i only have a shitty r9 255 (which i doubt still works) and my brothers other 480. would the other 480 work?
