First time build $800 Need help

Hey guys, ive never built a computer before but i want to now. Ive got $800 to work with, but i dont know what route to go or what parts to pick to get the best bang for my buck. I want to be able to play games like war thunder, world of tanks, cs go, star conflict, and some fps games. I do not care about super high settings, and i would also need to budget in a monitor. Led lighting is not a priority. I just want good all around speeds. Thanks for the help all!

also I think it's hilarious whenever a higher wattage PSU is cheaper than the lower one due to sales

First one has a MUCH more powerful CPU that has 3x the cores and 3x the threads

First one has 2x SSD room but 1/2 HDD room

Second one has a much better case

 

Overall first build will give you WAY better performance

 

BTW, Corsair Air 240 is $65 right now with rebate and S340 is $50 after rebate (Both Newegg).

Is that the NZXTS340? And would it work with the first build ?

Both work with either of those builds. 

Air 240 is a mATX/mITX only case while the S340 is a smaller midtower for ATX, mATX, and mITX
