My current plan is to mount both boards opposite one another, one with the IO to the right and one to the left. Both systems would be cooled on one big loop. There would be a 480mm radiator, both PSUs, front panel IO for both, and storage in a shroud in the bottom of the case (maybe hdds inside and some ssds in a nice little LED enclosure at the top?) The reservoir would be on either  the top or front of the shroud, depending on how much clearance there is on one side vs the other. There would be fans on the front and back of the shroud. I would integrate a hole into the sides of the cable part of the case  (for back panel IO) which would run down to the bottom of the case. The internal usb, etc would have the same thing except both boards would share the holes. I can't test anything because I don't have the case atm.

Could this mod potentially work? Or am I overlooking something important?

I've got a p5 on my work bench right now. The first trick I can think of is trying to still use the 1.5" plus thick base told hold cables/ssd ect so I might try to cut it so you have a mobo tray that is fixed and then an L shaped chunk that is removeable for cables.

Let me know if you want me to mock it up and send pics/ measurements!

Sorry, just a tad bit confused on what you mean by this. What parts are you referring to?

Sorry I had in my head a board on each side of the case. Maybe one day I'll learn to read. I think it might work but you might have watch the width of the mobos you use. I'd still be happy to mount a couple up on my case if you want.

It would be great if you could mock that up for me. Thanks!

Ok sorry about the delay Here are a couple photos and it looks really good. I left this setup on the bench if you have more questions I think mounting another PSU and PCIe bracket it should work great the challenge will be mounting all the water cooling and finding a good place for the radiator could be top mount or on the sides.

That is actually exactly what I had in mind. I attached a file with a (bad) model of my idea. The distances are accurate, however (480mm radiator at the bottom, res would sit on top of the shroud, with PSUs and storage in it.) LEDs for the mirror would likely be a HUE+ controlled by whichever PC i use more. Sorry for the delay, my computer took a crap.
