GTX 960 upgrade

I have a GTX 960 2GB paired with an fx 6300 right now. I am really considering going with amd on either an RX 570, or an r9 290 or 290x used (I find em for like 200 CAD all the time). I am worried about bottle-necking with my cpu which is OCed to 4.3GHz and I don't really have the budget for additional new mobo and cpu on either intel or ryzen. Any idea on how much it would really bottleneck? I play some games in triple screen 3840x1024 75Hz so my 960 ain't cutting it in most games even on lower single screen resolutions. Also, I have problems with Nvidia surround which is why I want to switch to AMD

After playing around with a 970 for my triple setup (5760x1080) these past few weeks, I'd say get a 980 or 1060 6GB.

upgrade cpu first. also, lower settings. 960~1050ti and is still a pretty solid card. for a cpu i recommend either a 1600 or a 1400

1060? dude no. just no. 980 aprox equals 480 and 1060, yes, but the 480 is still much better than a 1060 and will only get better as more games come with dx12

By the time we have a good amount of DX12 games, the 480 will have been superseded by a cheaper, more powerful GPU.

Cryptocurrency has inflated the prices on most AMD cards the past few days.

Lastly, OP can choose any card. I gave him green because he is using green at the moment making it less prone to issues as the drivers are already on the system.
