Western Digital Red vs Green

Hey Everyone,

So I am going to buy some drives for my home server and am looking at either WD Red or Green drives in 3tb capacity. I will be running the drives in RAID 5. Is it worth the money buying the Red drives? Will they last longer or work better in RAID? Also you know any other great drives they you can recommend please suggest them. The server mostly does file backup and some media streaming.

Reds are optimized for Raid in small configs (up to 5 drives) so I would go for red ^^
