So this is a kind of a modification of Linus's $1,000 PC build. BTW this is my first PC build so pardon my naiveness. CPU: Ryzen 5 1600X   GPU: XFX AMD rx 480  Mother board: ASUS b150-Plus   RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX  DDR4-2400

Hard drive: WD 1TB caviar blue   SSD: Kingston SSDNOW 240 GB   Heatsink: I honestly don't plan on over clocking so I think the stock Wraith Spire cooler included with the Ryzen 5 is ok  Power supply: EVGA 600B    Case: Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-ALPHA Mid-Tower Gaming Case

b150 is intel chipset, physically won't fit

 

1600x has no cooler, only 1600 does

Change that to B350 Asus Prime and you got yourself a PC that will fit together.

 

Oh and save your money, no need for a 1600X just overclock the 1600 very easily + free decent cpu cooler. Btw you seem to plan on using the stock cooler, well you don't get a stock cooler with the 1600X only the 1600.
