Upgrade path

Hello, i'm having trouble choosing an upgrade path. 

i'm looking for more performance in games and CPU dependent aplications

1920x1080, 60hz monitor.

 

the specs:

- H110m-r Asus MOBO

- I3-6100

-Gigabyte RX470 

-430 EVGA PSU

-8gb 2400mhz Corsair LPX RAM

-120 Kingston SSD

-1TB HDD

 

These are my options so far, i'm guessing that the weak link is the CPU, but i could be wrong. 

 

- stick with platform and upgrade to i5 6xxx-7xxx

- buy rysen mobo +R5 1400 (won't be able to go higher due to $$$)

- buy RX 580

If you don't know what you need to upgrade, it's a good sign you don't need to at all. Save your money for something else.

Or get a 7700, "ingeniering" not sure if thats suppose to be "engineering"

I would get a 7700, because you will get best gaming performance and it will only cost a few bucks more than buying a ryzen chip and motherboard

Make sure you have the latest version of your BIOS and get an i5 7500 or i5 7600.

Going from rx470 to rx 580 isn't worth while.Get a i5
