Mutliple GPU's

if I have a rx 480 and a r9 270 how would I have the 270 mining ethereum but the 480 playing games at the same time but when not mining still have the 480 play games? Also with both at max load could I run this on a 650 watt psu?

1) install the RX 480 into the first PCIe x16 slot, connect your monitor to it

2) install the 270 into the second PCIe x16 slot

3) configure your mining tool to use the 270 only

4) done

 

650W PSU should do it, unless its quality is crap

You should be able to do that just fine with a 650w PSU but I don't think your gonna make profit.

 

Just tell your miner to use the 270 and make sure you install the 480 first PCI-E slot and games will choose it first.

its a evga g1 supernova 80 plus gold fully modular with 10 year warranty is that ok?

The hash on 270 and that far behind a rx 480 also ethereum mining is not good on asic like bitcoin that's why power effiecient yet good hash rate gpus make a lot of profit.

but 270 is not as power efficient as an 480, so the power bill will cost more than currency earned
