I am building my first PC soon. I am building a color neutral build with plenty of RGB, however, I am not buying most of the RGB right away. I already have peripherals and a Windows 10 license. This is my list: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/ethanthemaker/saved/x86WZL. Does everything look alright? Is there anything I can do to for more performance? I am most likely going to overclock. My budget is max of

$1250.

I probably will end up getting an 850 Evo or something. I am planning on overclocking though so I'll stick with a 6600K.

Eh IMO a overclocked i5 isn't worth the cooler and unlocked motherboard, the saved money could go to something else but feel free to do whatever you want :P

You've probably heard this a million times but I would go with a Ryzen chipset.

  • CPU = i7 5930k
  • Cooler = Corsair H100i
  • RAM = Dominator Platinum 32GB DDR4-2666
  • Storage = Samsung 850 Pro 1TB
  • GPU = EVGA GTX 1080ti FTW3
  • PSU = Corsair 750D
  • PSU = Corsair 1000W
  • Monitor = Asus PG278Q
