Hey there , so today I ran WindowsUpdate.diagcab and this is what I got... Screenshot_41.png.cfb6564131c16929cbdbfcad45501217.png and I was like ok... whatever I'll just run Windows Update Standalone Installer , and it's been stuck on "Searching for updates on this computer" for near an hour. Anyone can help? Also the standalone installer won't cancel. I clicked on the cancel button and it's not stopping.

yeah, i had a lot of problems with windows update on 7... there is a program that you can get from the microsoft website:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/instantanswers/512a5183-ffab-40c5-8a68-021e32467565/windows-update-troubleshooter

download the one for 7 and 8. that could fix it.

After doing everything I need to click on the file u told me to download right?

no. that's only if you still can't install updates.

if nothing helps, you could call mirco$oft, if they can't fix it you could reinstall windows.

If I reinstall windows it would automatically have all the new updates right.

depend on which version of windows you are running you will need to install an update to restore Windows Update to working condition.

This video should have the download links in the description of it for the update to fix windows update.  it is possible that you simple dont have the update that fixes it but if you do this i would suggest a full reset on Windows Update,
