Hey guys, i've got a new android phone it has the operating system 4.1 jellybean, 3mpx camera, 512 mb RAM, and 1Ghz single core processor, it's very cool having android, but there  are too many apps out there and need some help on picking the right one; so could you please give me some advice on wich is the right one for every task?:

1.-Free books download, you can't imagine how much i love reading on this thing.

2.-Photo managing, i'd like to rename each photo right after i take it (it's very annoying to have just a serial number for every single one)

3.-A decent  (free) video downloader.

4.-Something to make my phone work just fine. You'll see: I don't know if i'm right or not but, i feel like everytime i open an app and close it my phone gets slower, so after i open and close several apps during the day some games and video players (such as mobo player) crash or cannot open at all, do you know some way to keep my device working fast all day long?

5.-And "last but not least" i love android games so much! can you recommend me some good ones?

Don't get mad, get even...

1- Search anywhere on Google for free books to download, however if you're looking to download books that are in the Play store (or to buy off the shelf) that is called piracy and is heavily frowned upon.

2- Depending on the phone itself, the camera app should have a naming format that you can adjust to whatever you like. Usually the pictures are saved with date and time as the 'serial', but you can change it to be 'IMG_1', 'frans fone fotos' or whatever you like.

3- Same thing goes for videos as it does with books - if you're looking to find out how to pirate media, you're asking the wrong forum.

4- The specs on your phone aren't the greatest so I can see why you are running into slowness issues. Look at a cleaner app like this. It should help with the apps running in the background.

5- I'm not much of a mobile gamer myself - mostly use my phone for utilities and social networking - but if you jump onto the play store and look for 'top paid games' (here) or 'top free games' (here) you should find a long list of titles. Try them all?

Welcome to Android!

Thanks for the clean master thing.

What phone are you using?

I always go for the cheapest and reliable stuff, so i got an Alcatel S'pop 4030, for $90 it's good enuogh for me; in the future i'd like to get something stronger such as an Xperia  or any dual or quad core powered phone.

Oh dear, an Alcatel. I hope it works out for you. Most people I know had bad experience with those.

I've had it for one week, so far i have no complains (but the processing speed) i know it's not any exciting thing but from all chinese stuff i've ever got Alcatel is the only brand that has never failed (hope this one is not gonna be the first).
