So, I´m getting a ryzen 7 1700 chip and a b350 tomahawk motherboard, However, I don´t know what RAM to go with. PLEASE HELP! I have been looking at corsair vengeance lpx RAM but I don´t know if this model would work (CMK16GX4M4A2133C13) because this website (http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=166631) doesn´t have that exact model on it. It has everything the same but C13 at the end of my model name as C15 on the website. Would my Ram still work ?!?!?!

Thank you a bunch if you can help !!!

Just get the fastest ram you can afford. Beta Bios's are already out using Agesa 1006 which offers multipliers upto 4000mhz and massive ram compatibility, it still aint perfect but its getting there.

Don't get 2133 ram, it will gimp a ryzen massively in gaming, 3200mhz minimum in my opinion, I went from like 87 to 95 FPS RotTR benches just going from 2400 - 3200MHz ram speed and this was at 1440p, the jump would be even bigger at 1080P infact I will prove it for you now and run the bench at 1080P 2133 and my current 3333mhz (my ram is also not on the QVL but works at faster than its rated 3200mhz with loosened timings)

I've got a Ryzen 1700x, with X370 Carbon and LPX 3200 16 GB kit. Currently, maxed at 2666 but still working on getting a higher speed with adjusting settings.

try 1.5v on the DDR and 1.25v SOC and loosen timings, mine works 20-20-20-40-60-2T @ 3333mhz

Purty sure until the agesa update comes that's not possible on Ryzen unless it's a board that supports BCLK overclocking (which is the taichi, crosshair vi hero, gaming k4 pro, and the Gigabyte k boards I think). 3200 is max without BCLK

Exactly, it has agesa 1.0.0.6, hence why you can't go higher :P

No, I've read in other boards that Ryzen due to how it defaults timings, something about command timings if 1T? I'm not a RAM expert yet, so still learning some of that. Generally resulting in having to double the rest of the timings. Some people say it works, others still have compatibility issues.

I don't really know much about that, so I can't comment :P
