Graphics card installation

Sheenthesheeps

I installed a Gtx 1060 to my old PC along with a new power supply.  When I turn it on, all the lights and fans turn on, the mouse light, the dvd drive will open and read discs, the fans to the GPU do NOT spin, but I'm getting no signal to the screen.  Is it that the graphics card isn't connected properly, or do the fans not spin when they are not needed?  Help?!

Also I've tried both the hdmi port on the motherboard and the one on the graphics card.  Idk if that makes a difference

Reset settings in BIOS. Google a bit how to do it on your motherboard.

Yep, check on the internet. I did it many times when my old FM1 PC failed.

Hhmm ok, also one more thing, the display went to sleep and the keyboard or mouse won't wake it up, idk if that helps at all

So I for the bios thing, all I had to do is hold f8 the first time and now it's booting up fine, was there something else I should've done?

Can you post a whole photo of the PC, like all the innards, wires, motherboard, etc?
