New PC help!

Hi all,

 

i just bought a new motherboard, graphics card, and case and have moved all of the new pieces in combination with the old ones I kept into the new case. 

 

Once I plugged it in. The power LED turns on and an LED on my gpu turned on but when I press the power button nothing happens, no fans turn on or anything. I have it hooked up to a monitor and so far nothing has shown up. It's an AMD CPU and I was told it might be a long first post. But I've waited and I'm not sure what to do now. 

 

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Specs are: Mobo: GA-970-Gaming

GPU: GTX 1060

CPU: AMD fx 8350

PSU: corsair 750m

Did you double check that all cables are seated properly and everything is plugged in?

Yes, I just went through for a third time to make sure

Don't forget the 8-pin plug just to the left of the CPU.

I didn't forget that

Okay, only other thing I can think of are the small pin connections on the motherboard.  Some of them are specific relative to polarity.  Just thinking maybe got something positive plugged on a negative pin or vice-versa?  Just an idea.
