At the back end of last year I updated my rig, it has gtx 1080 and a 6700k. I later decided to grab three 1080p's because I've always wanted to try the surround, triple set up. However, it ran terribly and I have no idea why. I quickly sent it back and that was the end. I now want to revisit my setup, I've decided on an ultrawide setup with an XR34 or an X34 which is dependent on how much money I can spare when I come round to buying. I'm also wanting to run a 1080p overhead just for Multitasking whilst I work on Graphic Design work. Will my PC have enough horsepower to run it? I'm certain it can but I'm a little dubious due to my triple setup running horribly. Thanks.

Should be plenty of horsepower. You shouldn't have any problems with that setup. The triple monitor setup probably wasn't optimized or you weren't sure what you were doing (like a year ago I didn't know barely nuthin about high end components and dGPUs, and still don't know much about optimizing settings for my display).

7 minutes ago, Mr. Whale said:

A lot of screen tearing, low FPS in games general use of the windows and Adobe CC was suttery, I probably didn't have it optimised properly as you just said.

Did you have updated drivers and proper core speed?

My name Jeff
