Artifacts when typing on keyboard?

What's causing all this vertical lines appear when typing on keyboard? It does it in word, excel replying to emails etc.

They seem to appear if I click on something I just typed and use the right arrow but go away when I use the left arrow coming back?

Kind of wired and annoying.
