Hello everyone! I have a prebuilt pc and I have started to upgrade some stuff... I have a 2 TB hhd with 375 gb of data on it; and I have made a purchase of a sandisk 120gb ssd. I am having issues with transferring my os from my hdd to my ssd with out reinstalling windows. And if I can not transfer my OS without deleting all my data, how do I do how do I remove the OS on my HDD with out wiping it.

Thanks MJ

You have to delete files or reinstall.

If you reinstall, just set the boot device to the ssd, then delete the boot partitions from the hdd, no need to fromat.

Ok, I am having issues with reinstalling... First of all I have windows 7, to install the ISO you need the windows product key.

This was fine but I found out that prebuilt product keys will not work with creating an ISO. It recomends to contact your computer builder but I no longer have chat support to get a disk or some thing.

What is your suggestion other than deleting my data, as it is mostly games?
