ETH mining rig

Its actually not really so much about the coolers. Oncethey can keep temps under 75ish, it's all good.

I haven't got experience with Gigabyte Aurous but I hear gigabyte ain't great for high overclocks.

And windows 10 is actually perfectly fine for mining :)
I've got a 480 4gb hashing 29.2 stable.

8gb versions can clock higher and reach about 31-32 depending on luck.

Word of advice, no 2 cards are the same.
Once you can OC them, run both on stock and then overclock first one. Run it for about 3-4 days. If it's stable, only then oc the second.
If you oc both to higher clocks, you won't know which one it is that can't handle the load.

The Aorus ones were out of stock so I went with MSI Gaming X ones which I believe are good OCers, Undervolted and underclocked actually gave me higher than stock hash rate, although sitting at about 23MH on each card. Probably need a bios flash to get a better result.

Ah yeah excellent, the gaming X are very popular with good quality coolers too.
Sapphire Nitro+ are best usually but very hard to get.

Strange speed you got though.
The 480 4gb gets 24.5mh stock without OC.
25 with bios flash and 29 with OC/undervolt.

I'd definitely reconsider windows though. Really handy for the extra options.

Good man ;D

Let me know how those 580s perform for you.
I hear that the 480s are a little better due to same performance (only dual mining seems to do better) with less power draw
