Hey,

I have a bastard program that does not want to run despite all the coaxing I'm giving it, (Comes up [programname] has stopped working instantly after trying to open it) so I need to troubleshoot it. Where would you guys start? I've obviously looked online for a solution, but it's not a very well known / popular program and nothing noteworthy is really online for aid. I've messaged the developers but doubt I'll get a timely response. I've tried disabling AV, doing all the uninstall/reinstall business.  Administrator rights, framework checks, comp mode. (Program is definitely compatible for my OS (Windows 10))

If you really wanted this program working, where would you go from here, other then finding a sizeable hammer and hurling insults to intimidate it into life?

Cheers for reading! And cheers in advance to any responses.

(Program in question is VorpX Configure)

what does it say in event viewer?

How do Reavers clean their spears?

|Specs in profile|

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.

try messing around with the compatibility mode options? try running it with a different user profile?

I've tried comp modes, as for a new user I'm trying to avoid making a one of those. It will be the last resort if I'm honest. Cheers for the response!

try completely uninstalling your antivirus and then try running it. dont just temporarily disable it.

those error basically just mean the program shit itself when it tried to launch.

you can also try updating all your drivers and updating direct x

Alright, I no longer have Anti virus (Windows defender has exceptions for the program), updated all drivers that needed it and directX. The bloody thing still isn't playing ball.
