Looking for Laptops

I am looking for a laptop that I can take to University. Something that has an i5, 8gb ram, ssd, usb, internet and hdmi port, around 8h battery life

Budget: Under $800 CAD

Yes they are.

 

Personally I'm a student (given not in University ^^ ) and I'm carrying a E560 around with me all day in my Backpack.

 

But I forgot the most important question: What will you use it for?

Im not sure if you can get a slim laptop with great battery runtime for under 800$ CAD

 

The only thing in that direction I can think of is a chromebook

I just searched on one of the largest electronics destributors in my country and what I've found was the HP ProBook 440 G4, but is has no SSD
