Stupid Pagefile...

Go to solution Solved by NinJake,

Change your pagefile to 16gb tops.

Navigate to system within control panel, under advanced tab go to performance and then click settings. Click virtual memory, change it to 16GB or less. It's normal to have your pagefile match your RAM.

Today I downloaded WinDirStat (Great Program) for some PC Cleaning up. The first thing I notice is that my page file takes up 46 GB's of my system storage. Wondering how I can fix this.

PC Specs:

Alienware, 16 GB Of Ram, 500 GB HDD, Main purpose for gaming..

I wouldn't touch it, just let the os manage i. But if you really want to open run, tyep sysdm.cpl, go under performance, then memory and you can set the value to like 16.
