GTA V framerate issues

Hey Guys

I recently bought GTA V but after some time I noticed huge framedrops especially when driving fast but sometimes even the sound disappears for a small fraction of time. I'm kind of guessing that my CPU or RAM is the problem but I'm not sure so it would be nice if you could take a look at my setup and tell me if it's simply to bad for GTA V.

Note: I started at 2560x1440 but lowered it to 1920x1080 but it didn't change anything

 

Setup (only the important parts):

 

CPU:         i7 3770 @ 3.4 Ghz

GPU:         Nvidia GTX 1070

Memory:  2x 4 GB DDR3 @ 1866
