Using hdd with windows as external storage

Hello guys i need help i have a old hdd with windows 10 installed on it,with my important gaaamee files on it hehehe and i want to use it as external storage(without formatting it ) since i have a usb 3.0 enclosure... I need to copy something from a friend... And i dont have any other storage options...... Any advice to make

Just plug it in and it whould work fine.

Unless you actually boot from it, nor BIOS or Windows will know there's another OS hiding there.

Wont there be any problem???  Once i copied the files using usb 3 then ill plug it in again on my pc as internal....
