Potential First PC Gaming rig

Hi guys,

I've been console gaming for pretty much all of my life and have never really seen anything game on a PC at more than like 30 fps cause my current ''functional'' PC is some sort of hp Compaq 6100 with an Athlon XII. I feel like making a gaming PC would be quite a nice approach at having the full gaming experience. Keeping in mind I need to buy new peripherals and stuff, here's what I've got so far...

Fell free to suggest anything that would help, this is the top of my budget tho...

For the case go with the Fractal Design Define Mini C not that apevia case, It's a little more but you will thank yourself in the end, It has way more support for future upgrades + Great cable management for a mATX.

Thanks!

Also i suggest if it is possible to upgrade to 16Gigs of DDR4, Ryzen works better with more ram!

I read that a while ago. Ryzen is sorta greedy with RAM I guess... I'll try!

Another question, will overclocking be a possibility with this build, or will I just stick with stock frequencies? I think maybe I would be able to bump the performance a little bit?

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

It seems we have a pretty similar build... I knew someone else had to be using the same specs...! It is great but no keyboard... That sorta adds a bit to the price. We'll get there!
