Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Hi guys,

I am looking for 2x8gb ( 16gb ) ram sticks which are compatible for ryzen. I would like them to be white because I am doing a black and white build.

Thanks :)

I picked up this kit for like $110 or 115 on amazon for my 1600X build.

I haven't gotten around to building my new desk yet, and I haven't bought a GPU, so currently I don't have anything useful to offer aside from it's low profile and looks nice with my Asrock AB350M Pro4

SFF-ish:  Ryzen 5 1600X, Asrock AB350M Pro4, 16GB Corsair LPX 3200, Sapphire R9 Fury Nitro -75mV, 512gb Plextor Nvme m.2, 512gb Sandisk SATA m.2, Cryorig H7, stuffed into an Inwin 301 with rgb front panel mod.  LG27UD58.

Aging Workhorse:  Phenom II X6 1090T Black (4GHz #Yolo), 16GB Corsair XMS 1333, RX 470 Red Devil 4gb (Sold for $330 to Cryptominers), HD6850 1gb, Hilariously overkill Asus Crosshair V, 240gb Sandisk SSD Plus, 4TB's worth of mechanical drives, and a bunch of water/glycol.  Coming soon:  Bykski CPU block, whatever cheap Polaris 10 GPU I can get once miners start unloading them.

MintyFreshMedia:  Thinkserver TS130 with i3-3220, 4gb ecc ram, 120GB Toshiba/OCZ SSD booting Linux Mint XFCE, 2TB Hitachi Ultrastar.  In Progress:  3D printed drive mounts, 4 2TB ultrastars in RAID 5.

I"ll paste a post i already made about the same board.

I have the b350 tomahawk arctic with white Corsair LPX ram and it works really good.

I've been able to get 3200mhz on my white corsair LPX ram rated at 3200. (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16W).

It is listed on their qvl here :https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B350-TOMAHAWK-ARCTIC.html#support-mem-2

With  recent beta bios  h.51, it seems that the new agesa 1.0.0.6 update was included since there are many feature like the various in between ram speed setting(e.g. 3000mhz, 2800mhz ,4000mhz) shown on the update.  I've hit 3200mhz 16-18-18-18-36 easily with the memorytryme! feature after failing to go above 2667 prior to the 5/23 update. people report success with xmp on other tomahawk board, I havn't tried.  MSI forum mod darkhawk provided the link here on the vh51 link: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=283344.msg1615642#msg1615642

The corsair ram looks great on the board on it runs with my r5 1600 (with hyper t4 cooler) running at 3.9ghz with 1.38volts .

I have no stability issues @ 1.35v on the beta bios and it is actually more stable than the official h.40 update,  7A34vH4 , found on the site .
