CPU score seems in order.

GPU however is not. Mine is 38,9 at test 1 and 34,2 at test 2

I have the same GPU (1070) with a i5 7600, which is same-ish as your i7

My setup is almost doubling what u have.

Try the benchmark again but this time connect with a HDMI. Just to check.

It looks like there is a problem with your setup atm

Also for diagnostics on our end: Post details, motherboard, type 1070 ect ect

i just switched to hdmi and i am locking at 30Hz 4k

That would be a hdmi setting. Needs to be 2.0 for higher hz.

But anyway, now that you mention 4k. That explains a lot, the 1070 will not do very good at 4k resolutions. Gaming at that resolution will need a 1080 at least to hit 60+ fps

In short your 1070 will never use the 144hz with gsync because it will never reach that fps.

Finally behind a computer so i could look up some details on the monitor.

Yes the hdmi is 1.4 so you would need to use DP, but i only asked that to test.

But more importantly the monitor is 60Hz max. So 144 will not happen whatever you do xD

I would downscale to a lower resolution like 1440p with the 1070, 4k just is not going to happen.

I'm starting to wonder if you know what gsync does. Its not a boost or anything like that, but just a method to prevent tearing which unlike vsync will not lock you at a certain fps.

And again your 1070 will struggle with 4k with most modern games.

So my question to you is this:

What did you expect gsync to do, and what is your goal.
