Hello, I am coming here as a last resort because I am right now going crazy with what's happening with my computer.

So a few months back I bought 2 more sticks of ram, so now I have 2x4gb (same model and brand) of ram, but now I know that I was really dumb because I started getting blue screens, but at the time I gave the blame to AMD drivers because they were in many of the crash reports, so I kept waiting for new drivers hoping for a fix, reinstalled them many times, etc etc. I never gave the proper inspection to this.

But now it's starting to cause me a lot of problems, I have already had the computer crash on me 2 times today while working on an important project and it's really pissing me off already, It's not the first time it destroys my work.

I know it's my RAM because it happens everytime I have a lot of chrome tabs open or a lot of programs open that use a lot of ram, like photoshop, sony vegas, etc. Sometimes while working I end up using 15/16gb of ram and that's when it happens the most, but when I'm just regularly using the computer not using more than 8gb nothing happens!

I have already done memtest but it can't detect anything! I am 90% sure it's my RAM, it started when I installed the other 2 sticks (I lost track which ones were) and it happens everytime I use a lot of ram! It's just way too much coincidence for me.

So now I have a problem:

How can I prove that it is my ram (some log or anything like that) and how can I know which stick it is?

I want to RMA this but I don't think they will accept me just going there and saying this ram is faulty and they they plug it in a nothing happens.

How can I do this?

EDIT: Just checked, I bought the sticks of ram on the 31/08/2016 (plugged them in the same day) and the first blue screen report I have is from 1/10/2016, so 1 month later it started.

start by removing one stick if it still doent work put it back and change to another. keep doing it until you find the faulty one

Well yes, but I'm pretty sure the stick works and it just has a problem doing something, so It would take a really long time for me to take a conclusion out of that method. If memtest does not find an error, I think that'll be a pretty hard method. Am I thinking this wrong?

if memtest shows its good it might be wrong but its unlikely. to test it install windows on another drive and test it if it works there then you need to reformat

btw you can install windows go on a usb and test it that way if you dont have a extra drive

Is there no way to know the bad stick by using log files? It has the ram address from the error. I'm saying this because I think what will happen is that I will test it, nothing will happen and then ill be like "Is it working or am I just unlucky". I can do these tests and will do if nothing else works but I'd like to find out a fast method.
