Man In The Middle Attack

I understand,,,, MITMA [MAN IN THE MIDDLE ATTACK] refers to an interception of communication between two systems mostly by an outsider entity.

My qsn is how do yu prevent yourself frm such an attack by these hackers?

if the files your exchanging are encrypted you're fine

he will get them but he whoudnt be able to understand there content

two things are required:  1) public / private key encryption of the data (at least, session setup) and 2) you need to be absolutely sure you have the correct keys.

 

generally 2) is not worth stressing about if you exchanged keys and have reasonable trust... but if your private, or the other parties private key is compromised, you can still be subject MITMA
