Compressed air dry duration

How long does my pc need te dry after i cleaned it with compressed air ?

5-10 minutes depending on the humidity, how much the can sputtered fluid, temperature of the surrounding.

bleh.. not as long as some sources tend to tell you, the more coniderate of those sources usually basing themselves on a worst case scenario.

 

i put a keyboard in the sink a while back, then strapped it to a fan for it to dry, no matter what people may say about that, my keyboard was dry and functional after like.. an hour or two

(PS: the keyboard was really nasty, it was the only way..)

Its compressed air not water. 

 

You can easily see for yourself, take your canned air and spray onto something, like the external side of your computer case and let the can sputter some fluid, then watch it dry/disspate. 

 

Last time I used canned air to clean out the computer I waited, due to reassembling the part, for around 30 minutes, until I turned the machine back on. 

If I hadn't I would have died a horrible painful death due to it being my wifes machine and she woke up form her nap. =)

second hand laptop, wasnt my doing

 

i had before also disinfected the entire casing with alcohol... several times.. because whatever was right next to the trackpad kept returning.

 

all clean now tho

compressed air gets cold when you spray it causing condensation though this is normally gone is seconds.
