bad amd drivers

just spent like 2hours screaming trying to work out what was going on with my rx480 top and bottom of it was the 17.4.4 driver from amd was the problem making windows BSOD!!! video tdr failure code.... why do these things amd just why anyone else had an issue with this driver?

Well not the same issue but, i certainly went crazy with AMD drivers for my newly bought rx480 . Turns out it was defected out of factory. Had a replacement one and using it just fine for almost 6 months. So you might want to consider that..

ye now its doing the same bullshit again just not getting the BSOD... no when reinstalling crimson no card detected... ffs now what do i do

Probaly a defective card,  one that can't reach the specifications but still got through testing.
