better psu please, the BV isn't very good. and why an m-itx mobo on an atx case?

don't get the i3, get a Pentium G4560. It's almost Half the price and performs almost the same.

Spend the extra money on an SSD and a better powersupply.

This is no doubt the best build but at 599 with no OS and no SSD it unfortunately has to be a no. if he could stretch to 650 this would be the answer but if he cant then he should consider the other build above.

an SSD isn't essential to a PC's performance, and OP never stated he needs an OS.

They used to be a luxury but I'd call them essential nowadays, they are 2-5x faster than a HDD which is worth it for booting and windows alone. With room for your favourite game too.
