So basically, I am soon going to buy a r5 1600 and am planning to use my hyper 212 evo for it. My current cpu and mobo will be going to a relative and I was wondering if there was any way to utilise the spare wraith spire I'll have lying about as opposed to putting that noisy stock cooler back on and rolling the oc to stock since I've heard good things about amds new stock coolers.

Thanks in advance

Why not just use the wraith on the ryzen build, IMO there's not much between a 212 evo and the wraith, and the wraith is waaay quieter and better looking IMO.

From what I've seen there seems to be a substantial difference especially when oc

Really? ahh OK, might be the difference in cases/chassis then and how much cool air gets pumped into the case. With my case there was little to no difference with those two CPU coolers when OC'ed, am using the thermatake core v21 with the 200mm intake fan and a 140mm noctua for exhaust.
