Hi everyone,

I need to get a new Ethernet cable but I'm not sure which one. There are all different names like cat5, cat6 and cat6e. My Ethernet is 40up 2(maybe 3:4) down. Which sort cable do I need to get? It needs to be 20meter long.

Thanks!

Just buy the BLUE one.

Seriously though ... as long as its at least Cat5E or higher (like Cat 6) it wont matter.

They are all rated to 100m max distance, the only difference is if they are 1 Gigabit (cat5e, cat6) or 10Gigabit certified (Cat 6e).
