Low FPS While Playing..

While I Play Grand Theft Auto IV, I get Like 56 FPS No More & While The Traffic Is high, Like Many Cars Blow Up Around Me The FPS Go Down To 40 FPS Even More Down..Everything Is On High Settings & I really Don't Know Why Is That Any Help..

Resolution - 1280 X 1024 (60 HZ)

Specifications -

Processor - Intel core I7 3770k 3.50 GHz

Graphic Card - EVGA GTX 670 (2 GB)

Motherboard - Asus Maximus V Gene

Ram -Corsair vengeance (8 GB)

well Daviidd I have the same problem its just because the game was poorly ported over to the pc i found the best way is to set everything to med but i run a Asus Radeon 7870 Ghz edition.

Well It Run Smooth But Everyone Know When FPS Drop Down To 40 Etc Is Badd,So I Decide To Ask If there Is any solution

well im right there with you i tried finding fixes that just like cleaned up the games coding so it ran smoother. If you figure out how to fix it plz let me know because i would love to make mine run so much better.

Nope The Nvidia - EVGA GTX 670 Run So Smooth And Clear, But I was Wonder Why My FPS Is Getting Low, But I can Say This Card Is Like More Than I Expected!!, First I wanted The EVGA GTEX 680 But Many People Told That There Is No Much Different Between Those 2 Card, So I decide To Go With EVGA GTX 670, I Also Could OverClock It But I Decide Not To ATM

Hmm, strange one, my mate showed me it running on his rig with a GTX570 and some crazy mod that made it look absolutely stunning and it was running beautiful. I'll ask him if he had to do anything to get it running sweet and let you know.

He said he didn't have to do a fix but the mod he uses on it is called "icenhancer" it really makes a world of difference to the graphics. If you Google it there are youtube videos showing game play with the mod, the difference is night and day :)
