Hard Drive failing

My 1 terrabite hard drive was listed as connected when I did my Windows 10 install, but now, it's no where to be found. Has anyone a solution?

Internal or external? Was it already partitioned?

Internal hard drive. It was brand new aswell

It was internal and brand new.

windows key --> type in: "create and format hard disk partitions" --> search for a disk that has a capacity of around 930GB --> Check if you have a good partition for said disk. Should look something like this (excuse the horrible hand writing):

It says ''Non alloué'' (it's in french) or Not used in english. The bars are black

If the bars are black it means that the drive is not allocated (I assume that is what it says in french?). You need to create a volume partition for your drive. Gimme a sec Ill show you how
