Had a budget around $2,500 cad, lower the better of course.

I mostly do Gaming & 4k Media streaming over Plex & Nvidia Shield to my Living Room.

Old PC was a i7 950 & EVGA GTX 760 SC.

Wanted to stick with Intel & Nvidia.  (need nvidia for the Shield)

Keyboards and such are purely opinion, no more, no less. You're entitled to your own opinion. If OP wants to spend the extra $20-$50 on the Razer, his call.

Rosewill PSUs are pretty noisy and bad quality, read lots of reveiws. Get a seasonic M12II 620watt, on newegg. Not sure how much canadian money it is but after 20 dollars rebate US its 40 dollars. It will be cheaper than rn but it will have a worse efficiency rating, but I dont think thats too important.

Keyboard is Good

If you want a bit of soundproofing get the s version of the p400 tempered glass. But the regualar p400 tempered glass is still great.

Ryzen 1700. Overclock it.

Cpu Cooler Cryorig H7

Never really heard of or bought the ssd, so I cant say anything about that

Like @Shadow6767 said, you can get a 1080 ti, but a 1070 is the best price/performance so it's OP's your call.

For all those saying that I shouldn't say stuff about the razer keyboard.

1) Never said he had to get it. I tried to convince him on another one. He can get one that has all the same features, but better switches. So why not do it.

2) Sure, Razer doesnt make the worst keyboards, but they dont make the best either. He could get a better keyboard for the same price so why not.

I disagree, 1080 is similar in perf/$ to 1070 now with the new price. Unless you look at the on sale $330 ish 1070s

He did say that his max is 2500, but like he said lower is better. I think he should get a 1070 - Best price to performance.

He might not be fine with using kinguin

512 gb ssd would be pretty nice.

He could get a dark rock pro 3. Its really quiet, has NO chance of leakage(AiOs dont have the best reputation) , Cheaper

We can both agree that either way a 1080ti isn't the best for a budget build.

Yup :D

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

512gb ssd. Why? Not recommend to read and write to a SSD much so it's not worth it.

Dark Rock Pro 3. AIOs have gotten much better for there leaking issues. Especially corsairs.

Kinguin, idk his choice.

$2500. Just doing my job.

I really dislike razer switches, razer synpanse isnt that good, and the build quality is pretty bad.

You dislike them. I love Razer Greens. I'd like to give Cherry Blues a try some day, but for now I'm sticking with my Razer. I actually like Synapse.

This is actualy ironic, cause I was actually going to use SeaSonic as an example. If I had a bad experience with a SeaSonic power supply, does that make it OK for me to say that all SeaSonic power supplies are shit, over priced, and no one should ever buy them(I'm not saying they are, it's purely an example, so don't go getting your panties in a wad), would that make it alright for me to tell people to never use them? If not, why not? And would it make it alright for you to bash on a brand you had a bad experience with?
