I have the Moto X pure edition (style/play) for a little over a year now. Less than 6 months ago I reformated and reinstalled android., And installed a second sc card for extra space. I don't know when it started but recently I have been experiencing the problems, most which are temporarily fixed with a restart.

  • WiFi stuck on, fails no connect to Al networks
  • Apps disappear from home screen
  • Apps take 1-2 seconds to open after tap
  • There is also a 1-2 second delay after pressing any of the control buttons (back, home, tabs) (I don't know the proper name)
  • Most.recently afternrestart the Sim card wasn't detected, but fixed on restart.
  • SYSTEMUI stops responding at least once every day causing yet another restart.
  • At least every day, I have to close a not responding notification for at least 10 apps in a row

This is getting very annoying, I'm restarting my phone up to 6 times every day, and it's really hurting my productivity. I've already wiped cach and moved all apps from my Microsoft card. I really don't want to have to wipe it, especially since k just did a few months ago.

I am running Android 6, the latest available for my phone.

I guess you can just try to wipe it. I know you don't want to, but that can help a phone with software issues.
