Front Panel Audio Not Working

Okay so  i installed my new motherboard (GA-78LMT-USB3) and the front panel audio doesn't work. You see, i believe it is because the motherboard default is HD and my case is AC97 and i found no option to change in the bios. I tried to install another driver but the one 8.1 had already installed seemed to be such. If any of you know how to change it in the bios please tell me.

Welp. I connected it to the rear io and Gigabyte's program opened asking if i needed to fix anything, I Clicked yes and it fixed itself. That was easier than i expected.

When installing the mobo, did you make sure to plug the front panel audio into the F_AUDIO adapter on the mobo?

You didn't say which case you had, that info could help too.
