I have a 75 hertz display but Im only getting 60 fps???

I'm not sure if someone else suggested this so if they did forgive me but they way I do it is: Go into Nvidia Control Panel, under display go to Display Resolution. Click Add Resolution. I think there is a warning screen. Then adjust, test and save the custom resolution with 75hz refresh rate. To make sure it is applied go back into Windows Display Settings and make sure its selected. That's the way I've always done it and its always worked for me.

When I set the refresh rate to 75 it just says that HDMI is out of range

Again, I'm not sure if someone has said this but if you are using HDMI then try using dual link DVI. If that doesn't work then idk. Maybe try getting LG to either fix it or replace it.

I went to the NVIDIA Control Panel and made a custom resolution and I could only get it to 74 Hz. If I set it to 75 Hz it just says "HDMI out of range"

Try DVI.

Hi, probably a couple of years late to this, but apparently according to another forum monitor manufacturers just round it to 75Hz.
