I'm using a Deal Vostro 5470 (win10) for school at the moment. Yesterday, while I was just watching yt, it crashed. Black screen, no light, fans or anything - it was just completely dead. Then, this morning I woke and when I tried to turn it on, the power bottom become lit up, as well as the plugged in light. There was a weird, deep spinning noise tuen a few seconds later the power button switched off. The changing light is still on though. Anyone ever had something similar happen to them? I know it's probably got nothing to do with the ssd inside, so I don't need to worry about my files. (hopefully lol) Thanks for any help!

if its still under warranty you can get in touch with them. most likely your ssd is fine, usually something else breaks in laptops as they get older(dont know how old your laptop is tho). you can either pay someone to fix it or buy a new one. if you want to try and fix it yourself then there are few things you can try: open it up and get the dust out, change thermal paste, look for water damage/something similiar on the mobo and the rest of the components(nothing you can do about that yourself tho).
