I am not sure if I should convert my Existing Basic Disk to a Dynamic due to these various reasons:

1) Will my SAMSUNG 850 EVO SSD have any Performance Improvements when I Convert to Dynamic

2) What other Benefits will I get by converting to Dynamic

3) Are there any Downsides to Dynamic Disks?

1) No

2) Partitions are dynamic, i.e they can be all over the place

3) Maybe not

Don't bother wasting time converting it because if you need to convert it back you will have to reformat the disk

Thanks deXxterlab97,

After Conversion to a Dynamic Disk, I wasn't able to TRIM my SSD natively using Windows Optimize Drives (Optimisation Not Available).

To resolve this, I had to reinstall windows and reformat the entire disk during the install process.
