Can't Open Radeon Settings

I have Windows 10 and a MSI RX 470. I have the latest driver installed but I get an error saying no driver is installed, or it is not functioning properly. I have uninstalled using DDU and also tried with AMD's uninstall utility, and reinstalled, but neither work. Any help?

I have restarted it. I have uninstalled with DDU and reinstalled the latest AMD driver but the problem persists

do you have another PCIE port you can move your GPU to?

What is the rest of your system specifications (e.g. CPU, motherboard, RAM, Power supply, etc) ??

Did you download, and install the LATEST driver's from AMD's website -- and not using the drivers that came from the driver disk?

 

EDIT: Make sure your monitor cable is plugged into the BACK of the RX-470...NOT the back of your motherboard.

No, M-ATX. I should add everything was working perfectly fine until it automatically updated Windows

The build is fine, it's a software issue. Yes I downloaded the driver directly from the site.

You are not giving us a lot of information to work with, that's why I'm asking again.

i5 6500, MSI B250 Gaming Pro, 8GB of generic brand DDR4, EVGA power supply doesn't matter.. like I said it's a software issue.. was working perfectly fine until windows automatically updated

On the driver download page, on the right-hand side, there is a "Download Previous Drivers & Software" option.

I'd recommend that you check the update history logs, and see what has changed.

Personally, for me, within the last month, Windows 10  has:

• Tried to update Intel X99 ITBM drivers and failed, causing my computer to unable to go into sleep / low power state mode
• Tried to update my AMD Crimson drivers and failed, causing device connect/disconnection notifications, and lagging

Used an older AMD driver and everything works fine again
